Chlada (Moroccan Salad)

Chlada (Moroccan Salad) is made for guests in special occasions. It is very delicious and diverse. If you want the regular salad, please visit: Moroccan Salad. This recipe is also called: shlada. The recipe is very easy to make and should not take a long time to prepare. Simply follow these steps:


Ingedients

Please note that you should not mix the salads below together.

Carrots salad

  • Boiled carrots
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Cilantro

Beans salad

  • Boiled string beans
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Cilantro

Beet salad

  • Boild beet
  • Sugar
  • Vinegar
  • Cilantro

Wheat salad

  • Steamed wheat
  • Canned tuna
  • Egg yolk or corn
  • Mayonnaise

Preparation

  1. Boil carrots, string beans and beets all separately
  2. Chop all of them into small pieces (picture)
  3. Mix the ingredients above (each separately), for example mix carrots with olive oil and lemon juice and cilantro only)
  4. Add salt to taste
  5. Server it just like the picture above while decorating the middle with deviled eggs, steamed wheat (or rice) and tuna
  6. You can also add black olives, pickled lemon or sliced of salami

You can slightly change the above ingredients and preparation for Chlada (Moroccan Salad) to match your needs and taste.
